batik quilt top done!!!!!!!

Finally I have my batik quilt top done... now I just need to layer the batting and backing with it and quilt it...

but I did want to share a pic of the top itself...

I am pretty happy with this quilt and think it will be used alot when done! :)

pillowcases for my grand daughters.

I made these for my grand daughters for Christmas...



I used heart shaped yo yo's and prairie points on this one.. :)

and


this one is a ruffle and heart shaped yoyo's
I think they turned out pretty! :)

brown quilt finished at last!

it is hard to tell, but it is all finished... I hand quilted it... and am oh so happy with how it turned out!

zipper bag....

I made this little zipper bag yesterday... I think it turned out cute.. :)



I really like this because I made the whole bag out of scraps I had on hand and buttons I found in my button drawer... pretty neat!

I actually made a tutorial of how to make these bags into a pdf... if you would like it just email and request it..

Jelly roll quilt top finished!!!

I am so pleased...

I finished up the jelly roll quilt top today..

Now I just need to put it on my quilt frame and get to work on it..



I love the colors on it! I used Bali Pops Cappuccino and some batik yardage I bought at the Fat Quarter Shop...

Prairie Women's Sewing Circle "project one"

I joined the prairie women's sewing circle" at the
Fat Quarter Shop

it is basically a quilt project of the month club, and lasts for 6 months...
this is my first project.. it was supposed to only have 6 stars on it, but they included a little extra fabric :) that I was able to make it larger to fit my coffee table! I really like how it turned out.. I think I will like the club for sure!
